Zoey the German shepherd looks out from her crate. She is headed for a foster home in Washington, DC, after her family had to give her up.

Jimmy, Zoey's brother. These two ended up at the shelter in Ritchie County when their owner lost his job and had to move. He, too, will be fostered in the DC area to await adoption.
